A good wife is the cause of happiness in this
world.
She helps her husband to obey Allah it, and offers
him
spiritual tranquility and peace.
The Prophet SAW said: Life is a pleasure and the
best of it's pleasures is a good wife.
Islam has ordered a man to find out about his
future wife.
He has to make sure that she is a good wife and
that she practises all her religious obligations.
If a wife knows nothing about Islam and does not
meet her religious obligations, she will make a
fool of her husband in front of people and spoil
his life.
The Prophet SAW has insisted that a man should
choose his future wife according to religious
considerations because such a wife will be a help
and support for her husband's most important
concern as a Muslim, that is, his religion.
The Prophet ai said: If Allah has blessed any of
you with a good wife, He but has helped him with
half of his
religion, so he should fear Allah with regard to the
other half
On the authority of Sa'd Ibn Abu Waqqas
The Prophet SAW said: "Four things are the cause
of happiness:
A good wife,
A large house,
A good neighbour and A comfortable transport.
And four things are the cause of misery .
A bad neighbour,
A bad wife,
An uncomfortable transport and
A small house.
The Prophet SAW said: The best woman among
you is she who pleases her husband when he
looks at her, obeys him when he orders her and is
faithful towards him regarding her person and his
property if he is absent.
The Prophet SAW said: "A woman is married for
four things, Examle:-
her wealth,
her family status,
her beauty and
her religion.
So you should marry the religious woman
(otherwise) you will be a loser.
On the authority of Thawbaan We were with
the Prophet on one of his journeys when the
verse,
(those who hoard up gold and silver, and spend it
not in the Way of Allah, announce unto them a
painful torment) was revealed. One of his
Companions said, "It has come down about gold
and silver. Would that we knew which property is
best so that we might acquire it!"
He replied, "The best property is a tongue which
mentions Allah, a grateful heart, and a believing
wife who helps a man with his faith.
Cooperation between the husband and wife to
obey Allah ft results in a mutual understanding
between them.
Cooperation is the symbol of a Muslim society,
Allah ft says, (Help you one another in virtue and
piety)
The Prophet also encourages couple to help each
other in reaching the perfect position in Faith.
He urges them to sincerely worship Allah,
especially during the "Night Prayers".
Abu Hurairah 4 said that the Prophet said: "May
Allah have mercy on a man who gets up at night
and prays, and
Transmitted by Imam Ahmed, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn
Majah.
A1-Ma'idah: Verse 2.
awakens his wife; if she refuses, he should
sprinkle water on her face. May Allah have mercy
on a woman who gets up at night and prays, and
awakens her husband; if he refuses, she should
sprinkle water on his face.
Abu Saeed al-Khudri said that the Prophet said:
When a man himself wakes at night and wakens
his wife and they pray two Rak' ahs together,
they are recorded among the men and women
who make much mention of Allah
An old woman whose face was shining with joy
and beauty was asked: What sort of makeup do
you use?
She said: I use for my lips the Truth, for my voice
remembrance of Allah, for my eyes lowering my
gaze, for my hand performance of good deeds, for
my body sincerity and straightness, for my heart
the love of Allah, for my mind wisdom, for my
soul obedience of Allah and for my desire the
Faith (Eemaan).

THE #PROPHETIC #MEDICINE series , #part 14 - OLIVE & OLIVE OIL Olives have been mentioned seven times in the Qur'an and their health benefits have been propounded in Prophetic medicine. Hazrat Sayyed Al-Ansari narrates that the Prophet (Pbuh) said “Eat the olive oil and massage it over your bodies since it is a holy (mubarak) tree.” (Tirmidhi, Ibn Maja) Abu Hurairah narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) stated: “Consume the olive oil and apply it (locally), since there is cure for 70 diseases in it, one of them is leprosy.” (Abu Naim) Praise be to Allah, Knower of all ailments and their hidden cures. THE #PROPHETIC #MEDICINE series , #part 12 - RUQYAH (DAMM) Ruqyah means reciting Qur’an and saying supplications reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) over the sick seeking to be cured; in addition to other good and lawful supplications. This is one of the great Ruqyahs. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to the man who complained to him of pain in his body: Put your hand on the area of pain in your body and say, ‘Bismillah [In the Name of Allah]” three times, then say seven times, ‘`Audhu bi `izzat-illaah wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajid wa uhaadhir [I seek refuge in the Glory and Power of Allah from the evil of what I feel and worry about].’ This is a means for healing. Also, one may ask Allah for healing using good words, such as, “O Allah, cure me of this disease, cure me of any sickness.” - #Hamras -

THE #PROPHETIC #MEDICINE series , #part 9 - HONEY Honey is deeply respected in Islamic medicine as a powerful cure. Aside from tasting wonderful, honey is nourishing, rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, eases allergies and can be used topically to disinfect wounds and cure skin problems. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself took honey medicinally, saying “Make use of the two cures: honey and the Qur’an” (Ibn Majah). In another hadith narrated by Abu Said Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) A man came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and said, “My brother has some abdominal trouble.” The Prophet said to him “Let him drink honey.” The man came for the second time and the Prophet said to him, “Let him drink honey.” He came for the third time and the Prophet said, “Let him drink honey.” He returned again and said, “I have done that ‘ The Prophet then said, “Allah has said the truth, but your brother’s abdomen has told a lie. THE #PROPHETIC #MEDICINE series , #part 8 - TRUFFLES/ MUSHROOMS Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The truffle is among the Mann (Allah’s favours) and its water cures the eye” (Bukhari). It was said that among the Manna sent down by Allah to the Children of Israel were several plants that grow in the wild without effort. Some scholars consider truffles to be a kind of Manna, although the word Manna in the Quran refers to the sweet dew that descended from the trees. - #Hamras -

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she would order that talbeenah be made for the sick and the one who was mourning a death, and she used to say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “Talbeenah soothes the heart of the sick and takes away some of the grief.” (Bukhari #5365; Muslim #2216) - #Hamras -

THE #PROPHETIC #MEDICINE series , #part 4 - SENNA It was narrated from Asma' bint 'Umays that the Messenger of Allah asked her: "What do you use as a laxative?" She said: "Spurge." He said: "Hot, hot." She said: Then I used senna as a laxative and the Prophet said: "If there were anything in which there is a cure for death, it would be senna." [Al-Tirmidhi; 6/254] - #Hamras -

THE #PROPHETIC #MEDICINE series , #part 3 - COSTUS: (INDIAN ALOE WOOD) Narrated Umm Qais, (Allah be pleased with her): I went to Allah's Apostle along with a a son of mine whose palate and tonsils I had pressed with my finger as a treatment for a (throat and tonsil) disease. The Prophet said, "Why do you pain your children by pressing their throats! Use Oud Al-Hindi (Indian aloe wood) for it cures seven diseases, one of which is pleurisy. It is used as a snuff for treating throat and tonsil disease and it is inserted into one side of the mouth of one suffering from pleurisy." (Bukhari, Book of Medicine #5343) - #Hamras -

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,
"Use the siwaak for indeed it purifies the mouth
and is pleasing to The Lord." (Ibn Maajah #288)
• COSTUS: (INDIAN ALOE WOOD)
Narrated Umm Qais, (Allah be pleased with her):
I went to Allah's Apostle along with a a son of
mine whose palate and tonsils I had pressed with
my finger as a treatment for a (throat and tonsil)
disease. The Prophet said, "Why do you pain your
children by pressing their throats! Use Oud Al-Hindi
(Indian aloe wood) for it cures seven diseases, one
of which is pleurisy. It is used as a snuff for
treating throat and tonsil disease and it is inserted
into one side of the mouth of one suffering from
pleurisy."
(Bukhari, Book of Medicine #5343)
